Jenny’s Poppy Dressing
This recipe might look familiar, thats because you may have seen it before in my Rainbow Salad Recipe. However, feed back for this dressing has been so positive I decided to let it have its own page. To be honest with you, I happen to really like poppy seed dressing, but many of the brands out there add too many allergens. The ones that don’t just cost too much and I do not want to pay $5-$7 for a bottle of dressing, especially if I only need a little dressing once in a while. I am horrible in letting bottled dressing just sit in the refrigerator door for eternity. (Ok, maybe not eternity but till it gets moldy and rotten…LOL) I guess that is why I prefer to make small batches at a time. This dressing is real easy to whip up and works on many of your salads (like my Rainbow Salad). Enjoy!
Jenny’s Poppy Dressing Recipe
- 4 tsp of your favorite mayonnaise (vegan mayo works too!)
- 2 tsp of yellow mustard
- 2 tsp of honey (vegan option: agave)
- 1 TBS of orange juice
- 1/4 tsp of poppy seeds
- Pink salt and pepper to taste
Combine all the ingredients together to make a smooth dressing.
This recipe makes 2 servings.
