Easy Vanilla Chia Pudding
I contemplated whether to write this recipe down or not because it wasn’t fancy or extravagant in any way. In fact, it’s down right simple to make and really plain “vanilla”, vanilla chia pudding to be exact. Both my daughters happens to be very fond of this quick and easy dessert/breakfast. Yes, this dish can be a yummy breakfast or a dessert. You can top it with your choice of fresh fruit, dried fruits, roasted seeds or even chocolate chips! For breakfast, we usually just top it with fresh fruits but as a dessert, you can set up a toppings bar. You only need 3 ingredients to make the actual pudding and it takes only 10 minutes. Let’s get this recipe started, shall we?
Easy Vanilla Chia Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 2 cups of unsweetened flax milk
- 1 teaspoon of pure organic vanilla extract
Directions:
- Add the flax milk and the vanilla extract into a medium sauce pan.
- Heat up the sauce pan over medium heat.
- Once the milk simmers, lower the heat and whisk in the chia seeds.
- Keep stirring the mixture till the chia blooms and the pudding starts to thicken.
- This process should take about 10 minutes.
- Turn off the flame and serve into containers.
- This recipe makes 3 servings.
